At Blue Zero Tint, we're committed to delivering exceptional quality, deep expertise, and complete customer satisfaction on every job. With a focus on innovation, personalization, and sustainability, we go above and beyond to provide window solutions that exceed expectations and elevate your space.
Yes, window tinting is legal in Utah with specific restrictions. Front side windows must allow more than 35% of light in, while back side windows and rear windows can be any darkness. The windshield can have tinting on the top 4 inches. We ensure all our installations comply with Utah state laws and provide documentation for your protection.
Most automotive window tinting installations take 2-4 hours depending on the vehicle type and number of windows. Residential and commercial projects vary based on square footage and complexity. We provide accurate time estimates during your consultation and work efficiently to minimize disruption to your schedule.
High-quality window tinting from Blue Zero typically lasts 10-15 years or longer with proper care. Our premium films come with manufacturer warranties and are designed to resist fading, peeling, and bubbling. The longevity depends on the film quality, installation expertise, and maintenance - all areas where we excel.
You should wait 3-5 days before washing your vehicle to allow the tint to fully cure. During this time, avoid rolling down tinted windows and use only a damp cloth for light cleaning if necessary. After the curing period, you can wash your car normally, but avoid abrasive materials or ammonia-based cleaners on tinted windows.
Dyed tint is the most affordable option providing basic heat and glare reduction. Metallic tint contains metal particles for better heat rejection but is only available for residential applications as it's illegal for automotive use in many areas. Ceramic tint is our premium option - it offers superior heat rejection (up to 95%), no signal interference, maximum UV protection, and won't fade or change color over time. We recommend ceramic for the best performance and longevity.
Our ceramic window tints do not interfere with any electronic signals including GPS, radio, cell phones, or toll transponders. Traditional metallic tints can cause signal interference, which is why we primarily recommend and install ceramic films that provide superior performance without any connectivity issues.
Yes, window tint can be professionally removed. However, improper removal can damage your windows or leave adhesive residue. If you need tint removed, we recommend having it done professionally. We offer tint removal services and can replace old or damaged tint with new, high-quality film at the same time.
We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties. Our window tint installations include a lifetime warranty covering both workmanship and the film itself. This warranty protects against peeling, bubbling, fading, and discoloration when the tint is properly maintained.
Maintaining window tint is simple. Wait 3-5 days after installation before cleaning. Use a soft cloth or squeegee with mild soap and water or ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials, paper towels, or harsh chemicals. Don't use sharp objects near the film. With proper care, your tint will maintain its appearance and performance for many years.
